This four week session will focus on improving running skills for students’ ages 12-15 years old. Running is one of the most effective ways to improve coordination and versatility, relieve stress, build confidence, and improve overall health. It is also the basic skill needed in every sport; improve your running and improve your competitive edge. Participants will focus on stretching techniques, strength training exercises, plyometric and agility drills, and speed development instruction using various types of equipment. As Olympic Champion, Jesse Owens once said, “Running …it was something you could do by yourself, and under your own power.
